What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten the teeth over a period of 12 to 18 months. These aligners are custom-molded to the patient using 3-D computer imaging and are worn for 20 to 22 hours a day.
Every two weeks, patients replace their current Invisalign aligner with the next one in the treatment sequence. With Invisalign, patients can get a straight, healthy smile without the hassles of braces.
People all over the globe are undergoing Invisalign treatment...
DID YOU KNOW...
The clear aligner systems of today have a decades-long history. The idea of orthodontic aligner trays can be traced all the way back to 1945. Dr. H.D. Kesling envisioned an orthodontic treatment that used of a series of tooth "Positioners" to straighten teeth rather than traditional braces.
The Benefits of Invisalign
Practically Unnoticeable
The clear aligners are hard to notice, even when people are interacting with you up close.
Treatment Is Easy
Patients remove aligners when eating, drinking beverages other than water, and cleaning their teeth.
Easy Oral Hygiene
Without brackets or wires, patients can brush and floss as usual. No special tools required.
Eat Your Favorite Foods
Unlike traditional braces, you don't have to avoid your favorite snacks or meals with Invisalign.
Remove When Needed
You can take out your aligners when needed, whether it's for social situations or sports.
Greater Comfort
Invisalign patients don't complain about irritation caused by the brackets or wires of braces.
